Description

A crew of goblins has been hired to cut down the biggest tree in the world, so a dragon can build a mall. Climb it, chop it wherever you like, and watch enormous branches come crashing down on your friends.

Goblin Tree Service is a chaotic first-person co-op game about cutting down the biggest tree in the world. Lord Cindervane, a dragon in a very nice waistcoat, wants to build the Galleria Arcanum: 999 shops and parking for 3,000 carriages. The tree is in the way, so he hired the cheapest contractors in the realm. Every branch can be cut anywhere along its length, and where you cut decides what falls.

Features

  • Where you cut decides what falls

Every branch can be cut anywhere along its length. Chop near the tip and a twig drops. Chop at the base and a limb the size of a house comes down with everything on it, swinging on its hinge before it tears free.

  • Bring friends. Blame friends.

Up to 4 goblins in co-op, or chop solo. Every falling branch remembers who cut it loose, so when somebody gets flattened, everybody knows whose fault it was. The client bills the crew for every incident.

  • Every cut sticks

Notches stay cut. Branches stay gone. Haul the lumber, hit the daily target before the whistle (or don't), and work your way up from a rusty axe to a saw big enough for the ancient trunk.

  • Climb everything

Free-climb the bark, lean your own ladders and set up lifts. Save up for a glider for when it all goes wrong. Running late? There's a catapult.

  • The tree has secrets

Strange things are buried in the wood. Cut deep enough and you'll find out you're not the first crew to try this.
